If it is not broke, fix it. After a hard season of wheeling the Willys it was feeling tired. The paint was scratched and faded the wheel bearings were ready to fall out, the brakes didn’t work till you pump them 4 times and the tires were rock chunked and dry rotted enough to think twice about getting up to highway speed.
The solution might sound easy just fix what is there and keep it on the trail. Well as many of you in the off road world no building is half the fun. Over the next couple articles I will be giving the blow by blow on upgrading the axles, brake system, adding air lockers front and rear, painting and new tires.
